Gregor McMillan
- Gregor McMillan is the Executive Director of Venture Energy, with overall responsibility for its development and delivery on behalf of its shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Educated at The University of Cambridge and Peking University; Gregor has a background in shipping and finance. He started his career at Fearnleys in Hong Kong, covering the Chinese market, and then moved to Alvarez & Marsal, where he focused on corporate restructuring.
- In 2021, Gregor was a founder of Rotor Technologies, taking a total of US$21m venture capital investment to build a fast-growth company focusing on the development of aircraft control systems. He exited the company in 2023, after which he partnered with Hing Chao and Wah Kwong Group to develop Venture Energy from Hong Kong.
- Gregor is also on the Board of Wah Kwong NatPower, a Wah Kwong joint-venture with NatPower Group that develops shore-power infrastructure across Asia, and is the Chairman of The Haddington CIC, a non-profit that supports and operates community centres in his native Scotland.
